Veterans Innovation Workshop
Experience. Innovation. Community. A place for retired and transitioning service members to keep building, mentoring, and inventing.
What this program is
Retirement isn't the end of a person's ability to contribute — for many veterans, it's the beginning of a new chapter. The Veterans Innovation Workshop is a welcoming community space where retired and transitioning service members keep learning, building, and mentoring through hands-on electronics, fabrication, robotics, and practical problem solving. It's not therapy and it's not a clinical program — it's a place to belong, a place to build, and a place to keep contributing.
What to expect
- — A renewed place to keep contributing real technical skill and experience
- — New hands-on skills — electronics, CAD, 3D printing, robotics, or embedded systems
- — Real mentorship relationships with students, families, and other makers
- — A path for turning a long-held idea into an actual prototype or product
Who it's for
Retired and transitioning military service members bringing decades of technical and leadership experience — and the students, families, educators, and local makers who learn from and alongside them.
